Drew took an innate interest in the construction of media while at the University of Virginia; so much so that he decided to major and consequently graduate with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies. His specific start with editing came with his involvement in the Cinematography program at UVA, where he was able to edit his own films. Shortly after graduating, he became a professional freelance editor.

His professional editing work includes: Senior Video Editor & Producer on two seasons of the Discovery Channel series “Live to Farm,” for which he received a Chicago-Midwest regional Emmy nomination in 2023. Additionally Drew has experience producing, directing, and editing multiple podcast series: from pre-production to final audio deliverables. Before that Drew was a promotion and segment editor on two seasons of the RFD TV / Amazon reality television series “Corn Warriors.”
